Dr Elizabeth (Lizzie) Gadd
Chair
Dr. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Gadd is Head of Research Culture & Assessment at Loughborough University. She chairs the Research Evaluation Global Alliance (REGA – formerly the INORMS Research Evaluation Group) and is immediate past Vice Chair of the Coalition on Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA). She co-authored the UKRI-commissioned report, “Harnessing the Metric Tide: Indicator, Infrastructure, & Priorities for UK Research Assessment” and was the recipient of the 2020 INORMS Award for Excellence in Research Management and Leadership and the 2025 ARMA Award for Advocacy in Research Management.
Tanja Strøm
Deputy Chair
Tanja Strøm is a Senior Research Development Officer at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University. She is Deputy Chair of the Research Evaluation Global Alliance (REGA).
Tanja specializes in open science, responsible research assessment, and enhancing research impact. Her career is marked by active participation in international conferences, projects, and committees. She represents her institution in NORCAM, the National Chapter of CoARA, and contributes to DORA projects. Previously, she served as Deputy Chair of NARMA, where she established and chaired the special interest groups on Research Evaluation and Open Science.
